Docton Mill
Docton Mill Gardens are gold medal award-winning gardens nestling within the stunning valley of Speke’s Mill on the Hartland Peninsula.The location is only 1000 metres from the coast, where possibly the finest waterfall in the South West, Speke’s Mill mouth is located. The gardens are open from March 1st until October 31 - 10.00am until 6.00pm serving light lunches, with speciality salads, and cream teas. The gardens have been created around the original millstream encompassing an exceptional bog garden, perennial borders, orchard and natural woodlands.

Clovelly Court Gardens
Only two miles from Yapham, this garden is a classic example of the Victorian walled kitchen garden including magnificent lean-to greenhouses. It is well worth a visit if you are visiting Clovelly and has the added bonus that you can purchase freshly picked fruit and vegetables from the garden.

Marwood Hill Gardens, nr Barnstaple
Marwood Hill is a very beautiful valley garden that is well worth a visit. The many rare trees and shrubs have resulted in a 20-acre garden with an exuberance of colour and masses of flowers. It houses the National Collection of astilbes and in summer these flower in profusion along the damp margins of the lakes and streams. Marwood is also famous for its collection of Camellias - the largest in the country.

Castle Hill Gardens, nr Barnstaple
Castle Hill was built in 1730 as the Earl of Fortescue’s family home in North Devon. The Palladian House, in which his descendants, The Earl and Countess of Arran are living, is set in an 18th century parkland landscape with grass terraces and statues leading down to the river and lakes. The gardens will be opened to visitors from 2 April to 31 August every day except Saturday from 11am- 5pm.
